Tamagawa Seiki is a world recognised leader in servo and encoder technologies. Tamagawa is proud to continue this tradition and annouce the release of the newest TBL-i Servos series, the TBL-i IV.

The TBL-i IV line of servos benefit from a new rotor design that increases the torque density of the rotor, thus reducing the overall size of the motor. TBL-i IV servos come with the same standard front frame sizing, but with reduced lengths and weights. This new rotor design also drastically reduces cogging, aloowing for higher speeds, smoother mooth at slow speeds, and less rotational friction. Modern robotic control systems that imploy haptic feedback, or require faster response time, will benefit from this new rotor design.

The TBL-i IV servo line joins the TBL-i V and TBL-i mini servo system in the SV-NET line up. The miniature line extends the size range down to 14.5mm, while still providing resolvers and optical encoders for complete closed loop AC servo control. Tamagawa's newest SV-NET intelligent drives can be matched to motors up to 3kW, with 30:1 inertia compliance, absolute encoder options, and high speed networking.
